What You Can't Do

• Spam: Don't flood the site with repetitive check-ins or submissions.
• Be deceptive: Don't pretend to be someone you're not. Don't submit fake spots. Don't create fake accounts to manipulate visibility.
• Harass or abuse: Don't use this platform to hurt, threaten, or demean anyone.
• Post illegal content: We're not a platform for anything illegal. Don't test this.
• Promote discrimination: No racism, sexism, homophobia, or hatred. This is a space for everyone.
• Impersonate businesses: Don't pretend to be a spot's owner or employee if you're not.
• Violate privacy: Don't post other people's information without permission. Don't take photos of people without consent.
• Scrape or automate: Don't use bots or scripts to pull data from our site without asking first.
• Break our site: Don't try to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our systems.

Your Content

Check-ins, submissions, lists.

• You own it: The words and photos you post are yours. You retain all rights.
• You give us permission: By posting on Ruh Finds, you let us display, share, and archive your content. We won't sell it or use it in ways that would surprise you.
• It's public: Check-ins and public lists are visible to everyone. Treat them that way.
• We can moderate it: If your content violates these terms or harms the community, we'll remove it. We'll try to tell you why, but we don't always have to.
• You're responsible: If you post something that gets you in legal trouble, that's on you. We're not responsible for your content.

Our Content

Spots, stories, descriptions.

• We created it: The spots directory, stories, descriptions, photos, and design are ours (or licensed to us).
• You can use it: You can read, share, and discuss our content. You can't republish it without asking.
• Discovered means something: We've visited every spot. We stand behind what we write. That's the promise.
• We're not responsible for businesses changing: A spot's hours might change. An owner might leave. We update when we can, but we're not your real-time source. Always call before you visit.
• Spots we include aren't "endorsed": We're saying: this place exists, has soul, and is worth knowing about.

No Warranty

Ruh Finds is provided as-is. We don't guarantee it will never break. We're not liable for:

• Lost data or corrupted saves
• Spots that close or change
• Bad chai (unfortunately)
• Anything that happens to you as a result of using this site

We're a directory, not a lawyer. Don't sue us because information changed.

Moderation & Content Removal

• We moderate with purpose: We remove spam, harassment, illegal content, and anything that breaks these terms.
• We don't censor opinion: Disagree with a story? Write your own. Think a spot is overrated? Say so (respectfully).
• We'll tell you why: If we remove your content, we'll explain. If you disagree, you can ask us to reconsider.
• Repeat violations: If you keep breaking these rules, we'll ban you.

Changes to This Service

We might add features. We might remove them. We might change how things work.

• If something big changes, we'll announce it
• If you hate the changes, you can stop using Ruh Finds — we won't force you to stay

Accounts & Access

• Keep your password safe: If someone else logs in as you, tell us immediately.
• One account per person: Don't create multiple accounts to manipulate the site.
• We can disable accounts: If you violate these terms, we'll disable your account. You'll lose access to your data unless you contact us within 30 days.
• Age requirement: You must be 13+ to create an account (or the legal minimum in your country).

Disputes & Complaints

• Try talking first: If something's wrong, email us. We'll listen.
• We're not a court: We can't settle disputes between you and a business, or between you and another user.
• Report problems: If you see illegal content, harassment, or spam, report it to us.

Third Parties

• Links aren't endorsements: We link to external sites, but we don't control them. Their terms apply to them.
• Google Maps, MapBox, etc.: Our map features use third-party services. Their terms apply to their services.
